For, Against, and the Truth

I was invited by Stormie Mills , an amazing artist and friend of mine, to join in on a group show that he is curating at the Linton and Kay Gallery in Perth, Western Australia. Each artist was asked to depict three different parts of their 'self'. The first perspective being how you see yourself, another being how you think others see you, and an honest account of yourself, a 'naked' truth of who you are. Obviously a difficult challenge for an artist, I chose to use one of my favorite models to express the emotions of these three different states of being. Each piece is painted in acrylic and varnish on antique mirrors.  I am very honored to have been chosen to be a part of this show and to show amongst such talented artists.

Opening night is Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Linton and Kay Gallery

participating artists include:
Darren Henderson (Melbourne), Jade Palmer (Melbourne), Amandalynn (San Francisco),
Jaybo Monk (Berlin), John Fekner (NYC), Jordan Seiler (NYC),
Kenton Parker (Los Angeles),
Marco Grassi (Milan), Matt Doust (Perth), Remi Rough (London)
