Amandalynn showing at 111 Minna this Friday

I am very pleased to be showing in the 'Fantastic 50' art exhibit happening this Friday, May 3rd at 111 Minna Gallery from 5pm - late.  The show is curated by Irene Hernandez-Feiks, the owner of Wonderland SF Gallery , she has chosen 50 of her favorite artists to display their work. There are some really amazing pieces in this show, definitely worth checking out!

The title of my piece is 'Serpantina', she is painted in acrylic on wood, and is framed with a hand embellished frame. I was inspired by this year's Zodiac creature, the snake/serpent, as well as my model and friend, Bethany Pifer.

I will also be showing the 'Serpantina' sketch, as well as my 'Snake Bite' sketch, which is also dedicated to the Year of the Snake. The final 'Snake Bite' painting will be on display at Wonderland SF Gallery's anniversary show in mid May.

Alynn-Mags newest Mural Production

Recently Lady Mags and I ( Alynn-Mags ) created a whole new style of mural production. Our goal was to emulate some of our fine art watercolor/acrylic paintings by using spray and brush paint. We had a great time working on this project, and are very pleased to have our work displayed on the side of ISSO in SF on 19th and Guerrero.

I illustrated a character based off a recent photoshoot done with model, Bethany Pifer, and photographer, Ken Goto. Lady Mags did all the beautiful watercolor inspired backgrounds and the cool bugs.

And a very big thanks to our continued sponsor, Ironlak

Amandalynn 7th Letter Tee Shirt Available Now

Last year, The Seventh Letter , reached out to me to do a T-shirt design for them. I sent them over a sketch layout and a vectored version. They chose the sketch, and did some trick printing to make it appear to be actually sketched on the shirt. My shirt, along with lots of other great merch is available online at www.TheSeventhLetter.com .

So proud to be part of the Seventh Letter family for such a long time - Thanks Guys!!

Amandalynn's MILF prints showing in 'Asylum' movie poster show

I was invited to participate in a very interesting show hosted by  Octopoda Art Blog  and the Studio 12 Art Gallery in Boulder, CO. The theme of the show is silkscreen printed movie posters inspired by The Asylum movie production company. Since 1997 The Asylum has been producing some of the world’s most notably amazing low budget films, proving that limited resources bring out the best in creative spirit.  Winning countless fans, inspired by their ingenuity and rock and roll approach to film making they have become the gold standard in off beat films.

MILF by Amandalynn

Each artist was asked to choose a film from the Asylum's library to illustrate, I chose the film MILF. Being a lover of sexy ladies, especially hot mama's, I thought this was the best choice for me. There are 10 limited edition 'MILF' prints being released tomorrow, April 15th, 2013 at http://octopoda.storenvy.com/ They are two color, silkscreen prints on gold paper, 12"x18", $50 each.
