“Wander & Wayfare” evolved as a natural extension of the artists’ mutual professional respect and friendships with one another. “The way I'm connected to everyone in theline-up is that I've met them all while traveling,” said Hueman. “San Francisco is a meeting point, one among many. I've hung out and painted with these girls in New York, Miami, Hawaii, and Los Angeles, and through that, there is an exchange of ideas, and though it’s not the central focus of the project, it’s no coincidence that the artists in“Wander & Wayfare” are all female. Hueman and Rocha wanted to create a platform for women street artists working in the notoriously male-dominated field. With a noticeably small percentage of female artists at similar international street art festivals, “Wander & Wayfare” is a way to promote the work of high-caliber female artists while simultaneously beautifying two of San Francisco’s burgeoning neighborhoods. The project comes hot off the heels of the launch of Daniele Rocha’s new non-profit, 1 Brush Initiative, which she is using to spur the creation of new public art throughout San Francisco. With its carefully curated line-up of female artists of different backgrounds, it sets the tone for the inclusion of more diverse voices in San Francisco’s art scene and the street art world at large.

Throughout time, artists of all kinds have been inspired by their lovers. Many times these inspiring entities are female characters whom entice, excite, or even disrupt an artist’s spirit. The term ‘Inamorata’ by definition means: a woman with whom one is in love, and is many times used in reference to a woman who inspires her lover's creativity.

Amandalynn has curated an exhibition for 1AM Gallery, which includes a group of artists inspired by the theme ‘Inamorata’. Each artist in some way has created works in the past that exhibit a strong passion for feminine attributes. This small collection of extremely talented and diverse artistic entities will display a complete visual definition of inspiration through love and passion.

'Natural Attraction' Mural Project

'Natural Attraction' by: Amandalynn
9'x25' Acrylic on Canvas
Installed in private office gallery in Denver, CO

I recently completed one of my largest solo commission mural pieces, titled 'Natural Attraction'. It was commissioned by a private client with the intention of being displayed in his beautiful office building in Denver, Co. The mural, measuring approximately 9ft x 25ft, was painted on one large continuous piece of canvas in my studio in San Francisco. After completing the piece in 7 very long days, I rolled it up, hopped on a plane and met a crew of wall paper hangers in Denver. We then used wall paper adhesive and glued up the final piece, after adding a few finishing touches on site, the installation was a success. I feel very honored to have been given the opportunity to create my own vision within such a beautiful setting.

Le Chat Noir opening at Modern Eden

I will be exhibiting a new piece this Saturday, October 18th, 2014 at Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco, CA. The title of the show is Le Chat Noir, and it is an invitational group exhibition inspired by La Belle Époque. In particular, imagery inspired by Steinlen’s iconic Le Chat Noir poster art. The month of October also presents a unique opportunity for participating artists to explore the historic influence of the black cat in this, a distinctly Parisian way.

'See Life' opening this Sat, Oct. 11 at Known Gallery

This coming Saturday, October 11th,, 2014, Amandalynn, Tatiana Suarez, and Lady Mags will be exhibiting their newest creations at Known Gallery in Los Angeles, CA. This trio has been working hard to prepare a select body of work dedicated to the theme See Life. The artworks depict the curious nature of the world under and above water, including: creatures, enticing feminine deities, and waves of opulent color. All three artists are recognized by their fine art and extensive mural/graffiti work:

Tatiana Suarez’s art and murals depict enchanting, doe-eyed figures with luscious curves, ornamented by creatures and exotic plant life. She has the ability to draw the viewer into a beautiful and surreal world, using imagery that stems from her Brazilian and El Salvadorian heritage.
Lady Mags has been a graffiti writer since 2006, when she started painting tracksides in Chicago. She began creating abstract fine art pieces with watercolor several years ago, expressing beautiful compositions with sinuous pools of color. Recently, Mags has taken her learned knowledge of abstraction into mural works with Amandalynn, creating a fluid balance between fine art and street art.
Amandalynns artworks present the viewer with enticing female forms and enchanting creatures. She often collaborates with other artists to create large outdoor works, which include her sensual muses entwined with graffiti and other forms of street art. Amandalynn seeks to create seductive and pleasing depictions that leave the viewer always wanting more.
