New ladies for LA Goorin hat shop

These are two new little paintings that I did for the new Goorin hat shop in Los Angeles. I believe the new store opens tomorrow.

Vox Humana Live Painting

Yesterday, March 26th, LA Art Machine  flew me to Los Angeles to be part of their live painting Vox Humana event at the West Hollywood Art and Design Walk. They provided me with a pre-built wood panel canvas, that was placed on Melrose, and I went to work. Here are some progress shots of my work, I still have a few hours to go on this piece, which I will finish up in May. The final piece will be on display at the LA Art Machine International 'Urban Art Festival' July 14th-17th. Much thanks to Bryson Strauss and Daneva, from LA art Machine,  for being such wonderful and accommodating hosts.

New Amandalynn Giclee prints available at Sexy Art Gallery

What I have been up to...

Here's some commission work that I have been creating lately....

 Prairie Prince and I have been painting the Marquee for new Russian River Theater in Guernville, CA

Steel, Reyes, and myself painted a new mural piece in San Diego at the new Goorin Hat shop

 I also painted some lettering in the store for the 'Heritage' American made section

and a few new hat ladies for decoration in the 'Ladies' section of the new store.

Head over Heels

This is my newest painting and first image designed specifically for my upcoming solo show. It's titled 'Head over Heels', which is also the name of the show. Head over Heels will take place at the Cassel Gallery in San Francisco on June 4th, 2011. My art will be accompanied by the amazing styles of floral designer, Renee Fontana , as well as some collaborations with some of my other favorite artists. So, more to come.....
