This is 'Jesse', the newest Vicious Vixen inspired by my lovely friend, Jesse Lee. She is done in acrylic and gold leaf on a used skateboard. I am submitting her to be on display at the 'Skate this Art 2010' show held at Gallery 28, 1228 Grant Ave @ Columbus, SF, CA. This year the profits of the show are going to be donated to the North Beach Citizens center.

April 17, 6-9 pm, reception includes: beverages & snacks, auction and sales of skateboard art, raffles , and four short documentaries: premieres of “Girls on Girls” (new doc on women punk music pioneers of late ’70’s – early ’80’s SF music scene) by Patrick O’Neil and “Skate this Art – Make This Art” by Geo Epsilanty; the return of “Hit the Decks” by Caleb Gatlin and “YAA Girlz and the Deadly Sparks” by Patrick O’Neil (doc about all female skate-punk clubs of SF in early ’80’s).
