Alynn in NOHO this Sat.
This Saturday, January 30th I will be displaying a new piece, 'Gloria', acrylic on mirror. She will be showing at Tammy Talbot's studio, Crowining Glory in North Hollywood. There's word of a taco truck, margarita machine, tecates, etc...sounds like a good time.

Patagonia
As the plane landed in Patagonia, the pilot informed us that we had just landed at the Straight of Magellan, and from there the trip just became straight magic. I ended up staying in Punta Natales at a beautiful spot that overlooked a huge lake with rainbows every morning. We would travel into the parks throughout the day and hike for about 7hrs. I have never seen such different and stunning natural terrain in my life. The biggest trek was the all day hike to Torres de Paines, which pretty much felt like a full on Lord of the Rings adventure to Mordor. Needless to say...this magical place holds the key to peace of mind. Go there!

Valparaiso, Chile
This place is so beautiful...I still only had one day to walk the streets, but it really reminded me of SF, kicked back with almost every wall covered in art. My favorite pieces were by some one I thought was going by 'Enaires' but turns out that is the name of a gallery collective, found their blog here...

Santiago, Chile
I returned last week from an amazing trip to South America, my first stop was Santiago, Chile, which is a really cool old, graffiti covered, art filled city...so much to see. I only got walk around for a day or so, but was fortunate enough to stay in a beautiful flat that overlooked the city and the Andes...and enjoyed plenty of great Chilean wine as well...
